I’m now the proud owner of an Adirondack Guideboat ( in VT maroon!). I have

done a lot of rowing in my camp counselor days and had a rowboat for a long time when on a lake. ( I used to have a chest!) Relegated to using a rowing machine for workouts since in addition to bike and weights.
I discovered these boats and have wanted one so when I went to Albany last week to visit my son I took a side trip to Vermont to try these. What fun!
Worked out a deal on the spot. Some guy is supposed to deliver late next week! Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to me!

When I had rowboat before I had a dog that loved the lake and always wanted to go with me. But as soon as you pushed away from dock her eyes would roll back and tongue would loll out. You had to throw her into water or she would throw up…. Ask me how I know that. Severe motion sickness!
